Hello again!

I was wondering if you have ever had troubles with breeding Blacks to Torts? The Redelman at Redelman's Rabbitry told me that if you breed Blacks to Torts you will get Seals...But I saw Rose's Betsy (I think that was her name) and she looked like a very clean Black!

Thanks!

You have such beautiful rabbits! I'm hoping to eventually raise Himi's, but for now I raise Blacks and Blues.
Thanks Kennedi! Don't forget, Himis can cross very nicely with Blacks and Blues! Blacks and Blues are some of my favorites though, I wish you best of luck with them! Send me a picture sometime, I would love to see your bunnies!
Thanks again,
Liz

Holy Smokes! What a lovely Sable Point doe. That is exactly what I think they should look like. Will you share her gene info with me? What colors were behind the white parent?

Hi Kim,
I agree about Annabelle's color, I think it is great. Her Dad is a white out of a sable point and a black. His grandparents are Himalayan, Sable Point, Black and Black. The rest of his pedigree is Sable Point, 4 generations back, also black, himi, and white. Annabelle's mom is a tort, with tort, black and sable point in her background. I did alot of research about the sable point color before I started to breed for it, so I think I have it right. I bred Anna belle to a Himi and got a Sable and a Smoke Pearl. The Sable didn't surprise me but the Smoke Pearl did. I'm going to bred her back to her dad next, that should produce more Sable Points, I think! Thanks for your note! Hope to talk to you more!
